The Subcommittee will ensure that all boys and girls in our communities can participate in an activity or sport of their choosing that provides an encouraging atmosphere, in a positive and friendly environment, that complements their intellectual and athletic abilities. • • Promoting the development of programs and policies to advance health awareness, the spirit of achievement, and cultural bridging of entrenched societal values 
  • Promoting the recognition of the contribution of sport and physical education in economic and social development by encouraging the building and restoration of sports infrastructures 
  • Strengthen cooperation and partnerships between all individuals and groups, including family, school, clubs/leagues, local communities, youth sports association and decision makers as well as the public and private sectors, to make sports and physical education available to all 
  • Developing programs that serve the needs of the youth which will assist them in personal development, establish a personal environment ethic and explore life-long vocational and avocation activities 

• • • Program should use positive interactions with youth and adult role models to help young people develop a concept of self, attitude of self-assurance, and a positive self-image 

• • Remedying the existing youth sports and recreational activities throughout our underserved communities
