Unity Fest

Join us for the first-ever Unity Fest on Thursday, December 9, from 5 – 7 p.m. at the McDonald Hughes Center. All members from the community are invited to attend this free event to learn more about Project Unity recommendations while enjoying free food, children’s activities and more.

In 2020, Project Unity was designed to bridge gaps between our officers and the people of Tuscaloosa while creating equal opportunities for our community. Unity Fest will give the community an opportunity to learn about the Project Unity recommendations while also enjoying free food, children’s activities and more.

Everyone! This event is free, open to the public and family-friendly!

Activities will include children’s games, a slam-dunk competition, performances by Drum Nation, a chili cook-off competition, and more. Free food will be cooked and provided by the Tuscaloosa Police Department and Tuscaloosa Fire Rescue. The first 50 children to attend will receive free passes to the upcoming Holidays on the Plaza Ice Skating rink.

Parking is available in the parking lot next to the McDonald Hughes Center.

This event is free. There will also be free food and drinks while supplies last.

The event will still be held in the event of rain.
