Jessica Alexander is the Director of Development and Capital Programs for the Tuscaloosa Housing Authority. She is responsible for development and modernization activities for the Agency. She has over ten years of experience in administering various programs of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Through her experience, she has helped families maintain affordable housing, transition into homeownership and overcome barriers in their journey to obtain self-sufficiency.

 Jessica currently serves as a Board Member for the Central West Alabama Chapter of the American Red Cross, and is a 2020 graduate of Leadership Tuscaloosa. Her volunteer experience includes Temporary Emergency Services Annual Fundraiser, Tuscaloosa Homeless Connect and Read and Romp Tuscaloosa. 

 Jessica earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master of Science in Human Environmental Services from the University of Alabama.
