Eric B. McCalpine is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and a proud graduate of local academic institutions Central High School and Stillman College where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business management in 2003. He later earned a master’s degree in management from Birmingham-Southern College in 2006.

While at Stillman, McCalpine served as chapter president of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., president and executive vice president of the SGA, and many other leadership positions. He also played football for the Tigers.

His political experience continued as he served as an intern for Alabama’s Governor and a U.S. Congressman.

McCalpine has also been an active member of his community, serving several community organizations such as Sickle Cell of West Alabama and the United Way. He was Camp Director for the Positive Young Men of West Alabama, providing mentorships, motivational speaking and a free summer football camp for approximately 250 kids each summer. He also served as President of the Tuscaloosa chapter of the Stillman College Alumni Association.

McCalpine started his professional career with Cintas in 2005 as a Service Sales Representative in Tuscaloosa. He was soon promoted to the Management Trainee program, which upon complexion he became a Sales Professional and earned two Presidents Club awards. In his position as a Sales Professional, he has served as team captain for the Montgomery, Tuscaloosa and Columbus, Georgia locations.

He was promoted to Market Sales Manager and relocated to Springfield, Missouri, but later returned to his hometown of Tuscaloosa where he serves as a Regional Major Account Manager for the company managing Cintas Government Accounts in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi.       

McCalpine enjoys spending time with his wife, Shea and daughter, Erin. He is the proud son of Joe and Rosie McCalpine. He is also a deacon at Beulah Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa.
