Audrey Buck serves as the Deputy Director of Urban Development. She has worked for the City for almost seven years with an emphasis on economic development and recruitment. Before taking on the role of Deputy Director, Audrey worked as the city’s Development Ombudsman for two years with a focus on the redevelopment of Tuscaloosa’s Recovery Areas. Prior to working for the City of Tuscaloosa, she worked as an Architectural Designer in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. Buck received a Bachelor of Architecture Professional Degree from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Alabama. In addition, she is a member of Tuscaloosa’s Public Arts Committee, a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).  Her specializations include economic development, architecture and design and project management.
