NaTa’sha Black joined the Chamber staff in September 2019. She coordinates the workforce training efforts throughout the nine-county region of West Alabama Works/Region 3 Workforce Development Council.  She assists with the planning, promoting and execution of WOW 2.0 for high school seniors and post-secondary students, as well as overseeing the Automotive and Manufacturing Clusters as part of the State of Alabama’s required metrics.

Before accepting the position with the Chamber of Commerce and West Alabama Works, NaTa’sha worked 22 years for The Tuscaloosa News of which 13 years were as the Advertising and Customer Service Manager and nine years as the Lead Multi-Media Executive.

She is a Tuscaloosa native and graduated from Central High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Stillman College and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Phoenix. NaTa’sha is a 2006 graduate of Focus on Leadership and 2018 graduate of Leadership Tuscaloosa.

NaTa’sha is an active member of Christian Community Church and presently serves as the Assistant Chair on the Food and Grocery Ministry committee. She has two children Nastassja and Nikolai.
